On January 19, 2019, the Bock Cellar awaits its guests with a variety of events as part of the Villány Wine Region’s “From Cellar to Cellar: Variations on St. Vincent.”

As before, there will be wine tasting from the barrel in the morning, a unique event unavailable at other times.

In the evening the hungry “wine region wanderers” are invited to a buffet supper in the refurbished conference room of the Bock Hotel Ermitage****, while the day ends with the acoustic concert of Gábor „Biga” Heincz together with wine-tasting.

Visit our Villány cellar! In addition to our already well-known wines, you can taste some real curiosities straight from the barrel.

In the course of the St. Vincent’s Day cellar walk you can taste three different premium wines accompanied with home-made grape-seed flour flatbreads.

The supper and accompanying wines can be consumed between 18.30-20.30 in the Bock Hotel Ermitage**** conference hall.

An acoustic concert given by Gábor “Biga” Heincz coupled with wine-tasting in the fantastic atmosphere of the Bock Circular Cellar.

As on earlier occasions, this year it will be permitted to taste wine during the concert – with a glass holder which you can hang round your neck! Guests can taste two wines during Biga’s performance.

Our conference rooms are suitable for events of a variety of sizes. In every case, catering for the participants can be arranged as a buffet, if required with waiter service.

Our large conference area can be partitioned, so that while a conference can take place in one section, the other can be used for dining, workshops or exhibitions.

In the event of gala suppers we provide a rental service for circular tables and chair skirts.

With the support of our partner we provide team coaching services where groups can learn how to improve their conflict management, communication and self-awareness skills, to adopt time management, personal efficiency, motivational and sales performance for growth exercises, as well as acquiring a management style with a focus on coaching.

Study comes together with relaxation, and we offer a number of opportunities to chill out linked with group cohesion: trips by bus or jeep (depending upon numbers) around our estates, a walk around the Cellar and visit to the Bock Winery plant, assembling and production of the company’s own wine (blending, bottling, corking, labelling) with the aid of a coordinator.

We can also provide  Bock wines with personalised labels. If we receive the company’s logo in advance, then we can incorporate it into the labels of wine bottles destined for the event participants, or possibly as a company Christmas gift.

The 4-star Bock Hotel Ermitage awaits its guests with 31 well-equipped, air-connditioned rooms and two luxury apartments with a total capacioty of 90 persons.

The Bock Óbor Restaurant awaits guests who enjoy their food in a rustic and slightly homely style, together  with the cellar’s quality wines. Beyonmd our events rooms we have two dining rooms, one seating 40 and the other 60 persons, as well as an outside area with a capacity of 80.

Bock 2012-es évjárat mustra

On March 10, 2018 centre stage will be given to the very best wines of the exceptional year of 2012. The two chefs of the Óbor Restaurant, Mrs. Barbara Nemes and Attila Hadnagy have created the delicacies to accompany the excellent wines. Following the five-course gourmet supper, each course accompanied by the wine most suited to it, the evening continues in the Circular Cellar, where the three iconic Bock wines can be tasted alongside light cheeses.

This was a year of extreme cold and warmth. The winter frosts were followed by a long, dry spring and summer. The extreme heat brought with it early budding and an early harvest. The year produced wines of exceptional quality.

April 8th, 2017 is the perfect occasion for those interested in joining in a unique gourmet supper and wine evening.

In the course of the evening József Bock will personally present his own favourite wines from over the past quarter of a century alongside the courses of a gourmet supper. During the evening not only will the Cellar’s flagship wine, Bock Cuvée, be produced, but a Cabernet Franc that has matured for more than two decades. But participants can also witness a “father-and-son duel” as they simultaneously taste the cellar’s top two blends frtom the year 2000, the Capella (József Bock) and Libra (Valér Bock).

Following the success of earlier years, this year we are again organising the cusomary Bock & Roll Party, this time linking it to the first spring event of the Villány Wine District, the Borzsongás (“Wine Buzz”)!

Anyone who’s drunk Bock&Roll will know that this wine needs music, and not just any kind.

This year, on April 30, Deák Bill Gyula and his band will be supplying  the atmosphere with a live concert. The EXIT band will play before and after the concert. And Whirlpool will be serving their chocolate specialties all evening!

This year for the first time it is the year, and not the varieties, that tells the tale! On 9th April 2016, in the Bock Restaurant, we hold a Gourmet supper + wine tasting of our 2012 selected varieties.

Dear Friend,

we kindly invite you to the Villány-Siklós Wine Route Association’s next outstanding event.

On the 21st of November 2015, the Franc&Franc reunion brings together the best cabernet wines from France and Hungary.

The opening ceremony will start at 10 am at Attila Gere’s Cellar. Venues: Bock Cellar, Ede and Zsolt Tiffán’s Cellar, Sauska Cellar, Tamás Günzer’s Cellar.

At every stop you can taste the cabernet franc of each cellar and other wines from Villány and the French vignards.

Transfer buses will be provided.

Participants:

Admission: 15 000 HUF/pers.
The participant fee includes: tasting of each wine, transfer between the cellars, finger food / canapés, a tasting glass, a booklet and a Villányi Franc dropstop.

After last year’s success, this year we are once again holding the Bock & Roll Party, and this time to coincide with Borzsongás, the Villány wine region’s first spring festival!

Bock & Roll PartyAnyone who’s ever drunk Bock&Roll will know that it needs music – not any old music, but Rock&Roll.

And so among this year’s foot-tappers Viki Marót and the Nova Kultúr Band will be giving a one-hour live concert. The EXIT Band will be playing, a DJ will provide music of a style befitting Bock&Roll, and we’re planning a surprise as well!

Admission includes popcorn to help get into that American mood, as well as a taste of Bock&Roll and two more glasses of the Bock nectar of your choice.
