This year for the first time it is the year, and not the varieties, that tells the tale! On 9th April 2016, in the Bock Restaurant, we hold a Gourmet supper + wine tasting of our 2012 selected varieties.

These are the wines and the vineyards that will unfold the story of 2012:

What to know about 2012:
It was a year with extemes of cold and hot. The winter freeze was long, and followed by a long, dry spring and summer. The extra heat brought with it early budding and an early harvest. The year produced wines of outstanding quality with a high alcohol content.

Ravioli stuffed with lobster cream in garlic butter with fried parsnip

Marinaded duck liver in peppercorn coating with celeriac spaghetti and grapefruit pearls

Crispy leg of duck with breast, with milk-loaf pudding and apricot sauce

2. Main course:

Jammertál stuffed loin of beef with turnip and chocolate cappuccino sauce

Bock Cabernet Sauvignon Selection 2012

Dessert:

Ördögárok yoghurt jelly with vanilla and pipe tobacco sorbet
